Blessing the Next Generation　次の世代を祝福する

1.God wants to bless the children　神様は子供たちを祝福する
(Mk 10:13-16) People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. (14) When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (15) I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." (16) And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
（マルコ 10:13） イエスに触れていただくために、人々が子供たちを連れて来た。弟子たちはこの人々を叱った。 （14） しかし、イエスはこれを見て憤り、弟子たちに言われた。「子供たちをわたしのところに来させなさい。妨げてはならない。神の国はこのような者たちのものである。 （15） はっきり言っておく。子供のように神の国を受け入れる人でなければ、決してそこに入ることはできない。」 （16） そして、子供たちを抱き上げ、手を置いて祝福された。

2.    God wants to build the next generation through OUR generation
    神様は今の世代を通して次世代を築き上げたい

(Ps 71:18) Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.
（詩篇 71:18） わたしが老いて白髪になっても神よ、どうか捨て去らないでください。御腕の業を、力強い御業を来るべき世代に語り伝えさせてください。

(Ps 78:7) Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.
（詩篇 78:7） 彼らをして神に望みをおき、神のみわざを忘れず、その戒めを守らせるためである。

(Joel 1:3) Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation.
（ヨエル 1:3） これをあなたがたの子たちに語り、子たちはまたその子たちに語り、その子たちはまたこれを後の代に語り伝えよ。

3.    Leaders are: Excellent in building the next generation
    真のリーダーは次世代を築き上げることに長けている

(1 Tim 3:4-5) He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect (5) (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?)
（1テモテ 3:4） 自分の家をよく治め、謹厳であって、子供たちを従順な者に育てている人でなければならない。
（5）（自分の家を治めることも心得ていない人が、どうして神の教会を預かることができようか。）

4.    The church is the perfect place for families to grow and be blessed!
    教会が、家族と次世代が成長し、祝福される最高の場所だ！

(1 Tim 5:1-2) Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, (2) older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.
（1テモテ 5:1‐2） 老人を叱ってはなりません。むしろ、自分の父親と思って諭しなさい。若い男は兄弟と思い、 （2） 年老いた婦人は母親と思い、若い女性には常に清らかな心で姉妹と思って諭しなさい。
