Joy of knowing God’s Power 神様の力を知る喜び

(Luke 10:17-20) The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” (18) He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. (19) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (20) However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

（ルカ 10:17-20） さて、七十人が喜んで帰って来て、こう言った。「主よ。あなたの御名を使うと、悪霊どもでさえ、私たちに服従します。」 (18) イエスは言われた。「わたしが見ていると、サタンが、いなずまのように天から落ちました。(19) 確かに、わたしは、あなたがたに、蛇やさそりを踏みつけ、敵のあらゆる力に打ち勝つ権威を授けたのです。だから、あなたがたに害を加えるものは何一つありません。(20) だがしかし、悪霊どもがあなたがたに服従するからといって、喜んではなりません。ただあなたがたの名が天に書きしるされていることを喜びなさい。」

1. Joy of blessing others in Jesus’ Name イエスの名によって他の人を祝福する喜び

(Isaiah 61:1-3) The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, (2) to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, (3) and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

（イザヤ 61:1-3） 神である主の霊が、わたしの上にある。主はわたしに油をそそぎ、貧しい者に良い知らせを伝え、心の傷ついた者をいやすために、わたしを遣わされた。捕われ人には解放を、囚人には釈放を告げ、(2) 主の恵みの年と、われわれの神の復讐の日を告げ、すべての悲しむ者を慰め、(3) シオンの悲しむ者たちに、灰の代わりに頭の飾りを、悲しみの代わりに喜びの油を、憂いの心の代わりに賛美の外套を着けさせるためである。彼らは、義の樫の木、栄光を現わす主の植木と呼ばれよう。

(Jesus quotes this in Luke 4:18-19) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (19) to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

(Acts 4:12) Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

(使徒 4:12) この方以外には、だれによっても救いはありません。世界中でこの御名のほかには、私たちが救われるべき名としては、どのような名も、人間に与えられていないからです。」

3. Joy of knowing God has dealt with hell and sin　神様が私たちを地獄と罪から解放してくれたことを知る喜び

(Revelation 20:12;15) And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. (15) Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

（黙示録 20:12、15）　また私は、死んだ人々が、大きい者も、小さい者も御座の前に立っているのを見た。そして、数々の書物が開かれた。また、別の一つの書物も開かれたが、それは、いのちの書であった。死んだ人々は、これらの書物に書きしるされているところに従って、自分の行ないに応じてさばかれた。(15) いのちの書に名のしるされていない者はみな、この火の池に投げ込まれた。
