(Luke 10:17-20) The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” (18) He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. (19) I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (20) However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

1. Joy of blessing others in Jesus’ Name イエスの名によって他の人を祝福する喜び

(Isaiah 61:1-3) The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, (2) to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, (3) and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (15) I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." (16) And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

1. Jesus had 12 good friends who he chose.

3. Jesus had women friendships in a group context
イエスはグループとして女性の友人がいた。

There was never any confusion about the context of their relationship. (They knew where they stood.)

4. He had  difficult relationships to deal with.

1 of them didn't really believe in him for a while- Thomas.
彼らのうち1人はしばらくイエスを信じていなかった - トマス

John 20:27 (New International Version)27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

ヨハネ20：27それからイエスは、トマスにおっしゃいました。「さあ、あなたの指をこの手に当ててみなさい。あなたの手をこのわき腹に差し入れてみなさい。いつまでも疑っていないで、信じなさい。」


1 of them lied about him but he fixed the friendship- Peter.

Matthew 16:23 (New International Version)23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

マタイ16：23イエスはふり向かれ、「サタンよ。出て行きなさい！そのようなことを言って、わたしをわなにかける気ですか。あなたはただ人間的な見方をして、神の立場を忘れている！」とおしかりになりました。


1 of them chose money over the friendships- not a true friend
彼らのうち1人は友よりもお金を選んだ - 本当の友だちではない

John 12:4-6 (New International Version)4 But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, 5 “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.” 6 He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.

ヨハネ12:4-6 ところが、弟子の一人で、イエスを裏切ろうとしていたイスカリオテのユダが、非難がましく言いました。「やれやれ、この香油はひと財産ものだよ。売って、その代金を貧しい人たちに恵んでやればよさそうなものなのに。全くもったいない話だ。」こう言ったのは、貧しい人たちのことを心にかけていたからではありません。仲間の会計をいっさい任されているのをいいことに、使い込みを重ねていたからです。
